Mountain Biking: Bring the mountain bike and enjoy a nice ride on some local trails. A local mountain biker, whose wife will be running that day, has offered to lead some group rides during the event to those not participating. If interested, contact Jean Luc and get on the list.
Canoeing/Kayaking: The west branch of the Susquehanna River is only several boat-lengths from the Hyner Challenge parking area. Boaters can use the public boat launch and paddle for hours on smooth water. Sorry, no whitewater!
Fishing: Some of the best trout streams are only minutes away. See a WCSA member while at the facility to get directions or contact Ray Werts at rwerts@localnet.com. The WCSA operates a local fish hatchery near Young Women's Creek, a great trout stream.
